Tilapia is an excellent source of nutrition, and tilapia is also inexpensive and easy to find in most grocery stores. If you want to try this versatile fish, there is an abundance of tilapia recipes to choose among. You can for instance serve your dinner guests truly mouth-watering Macadamia tilapia. Simply preheat the broiler of you oven while you line a baking sheet with aluminium foil. Put 10 ounces of macademia nuts in a food processor and mix them with 3 cloves of garlic, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of hot sauce, and 1 teaspoon of coarsely grounded black pepper. Mix until you have created a paste. Place 4 tilapia fillets (6 ounce) on the aluminium foil and cover each fillet with a tick layer of your freshly made macadamia paste. Cook the fillets under the broil until the crust has developed a golden brown colour and you can flake the fish easily using a fork. This will normally take no longer than 15 minutes so dinner can be ready in no time. This recipe will of course take a little longer to prepare if you have no food processor, since you have to chop and mix the macadamia paste by hand, but it is definitely worth it.
